Carbon Farming

Let’s re-store carbon on local farms and turn it into food.

Join the Southern Appalachian region’s first collective and concrete pathway for addressing the climate crisis through positive change you can see and taste.

Carbon credits are an attempt to incentivize better land management, and to make it possible for fossil fuel based activities to be matched to conservation activities that will offset the environmental impact of powering the world.

We are creating a unique, region-specific platform that prioritizes agroforestry, or the integration of trees and agriculture in the Southern Appalachians.

In 2022, Carbon Harvest will launch the first such platform in the South, through the facilitation of regionally funded and implemented agroforestry projects that will be monitored from planting to harvest.

By helping to establish, monitor and verify the climate-balancing carbon capture on Southern Appalachian lands, Carbon Harvest’s platform will be able to offer innovative, regenerative carbon credits for businesses and individuals in our region.
